About Sagar Songom

I’m Sagar Songom Dihingia, professionally known as Sagar Songom—a content writer, scriptwriter, dubbing coordinator, and creative storyteller from Assam, India. I have been actively involved in the media and television industry for over a decade, exploring stories across print, television, and digital platforms.

My writing journey began in June 2016 with Bishmoi, one of Assam’s most popular Assamese monthly magazines edited by Sashi Phukan. From September 2016 to January 2019, I worked as a Sub-Editor at a leading Assamese daily newspaper, where I honed my skills in journalism, editing, and content development.

Over the years, I have written for several Assamese television serials, including “Amarapali” (Rang) and “Adarar Achor” (Rengoni). I also previously worked as an Assistant Director and Script Writer for the iconic Assamese TV serial Beharbari Outpost, the longest-running television series in Northeast India, with over 3,000 episodes.

Currently, I work as a writer and dubbing coordinator for the Hindi mythology serial “Karmadhikari Shani Dev”, where I write the Assamese telecast script and oversee the dubbing process. The serial is currently telecast on Rengoni Channel, under AM Television Pvt. Ltd.

Alongside my television work, I also work as a freelance content creator, offering:

  • Scriptwriting for TV, web, and digital content

  • Creative writing & storytelling

  • Dubbing script writing & coordination

  • Translation (Hindi/Bengali–Assamese)

  • Concept development for shows and digital content

For me, every project is an opportunity to tell a story that feels honest, engaging, and culturally rooted—whether it’s for the screen, the page, or the digital space.
